Hallelujah! May the God of peace be with you all.
I’m currently in Seoul to give a special lecture at Yonsei University. I’m so grateful to see how God’s grace continues to carry this ministry forward. I truly believe it’s all because of your faithful prayers and intercession. As I prepare to enter a short season of rest next week, I’m especially thankful for this chance to share what God is doing.
I’d like to ask for your prayers for something very important. The Executive Director of Prison Alliance USA, our ministry partner, will be visiting Korea this week. Together with Caleb Mission, we plan to bring a Bible study discipleship program specifically designed for inmates into Korean correctional facilities. Please pray that this partnership will bear much fruit and that God’s Word will transform many hearts.
Caleb Mission has been faithfully serving those trapped in what we call the “great prison” of North Korea, working toward true spiritual freedom for the Korean people.
At the same time, we believe that even those in correctional facilities here in South Korea — though they have stumbled and fallen — can experience redemption and new life in Christ.
Please remember them in your prayers.
We also ask for your continued intercession for the rescue of North Korean escapees in China. Many obstacles have delayed the rescue team’s departure, but we’re praying they will finally be able to go next week—and, more importantly, that every person will be rescued safely. Please pray earnestly for their protection and successful rescue.
Our Southeast Asia Center has been reorganized and is now ready for ministry, though it continues to face heavy financial needs — about $10,000 each month. Still, we believe that God will make a way through prayer and faith.
During my upcoming season of rest, I plan to seek God’s wisdom and direction for the next steps of this ministry. Please also remember the North Korean sisters who will be receiving bible study at the Southeast Asia Center.
As we approach the end of the year, let’s pray that many more souls will come to know Christ. May this season be one where we lift up lives to God and see His salvation spread even further.
Finally, please pray for all our ministry workers — that they may serve in unity, overcome every hardship, and carry out their mission faithfully. Thank you so much for your prayers and partnership. May God’s peace and abundant grace be with you always.
In Christ’s love and service,Pastor Seungeun Kim
