Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each and every one of you! Autumn is now in full swing, and I hope you are all staying healthy as the seasons change. Yesterday, I received a phone call from a North Korean woman rescued by Caleb Mission who is currently staying at Hanawon. She called to express her gratitude for being rescued through Caleb Mission. Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each and every one of you! Today, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the National Assembly of South Korea with some of the North Korean escapees we have rescued. A member of the National Assembly saw a recent national television broadcast featuring Caleb Mission’s 20th anniversary and kindly invited us to visit. It has been a truly meaningful and unforgettable experience for our North Korean brothers and sisters, fil

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with you. Seven years ago, during Chuseok, the Korean harvest holiday, there was a family in North Korea who risked their lives to escape. The family's journey was captured in the documentary Beyond Utopia. This family of five crossed into China while avoiding the watchful eyes of North Korea’s State Security Department. We risked our own lives as well, traveling with them across China and through the jungles of Southeast Asia,

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. I hope you are all having a blessed Chuseok holiday (Korean Thanksgiving). We are spending this special holiday together with North Korean escapees. Although they have hometowns they cannot return to, I believe it brings them comfort to be surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ who can share their pain, faith, and hope. During today’s worship service, we connected via video call with North Korean escapee

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. Fall is now fully upon us. It is a season of harvest, and Chuseok, Korea’s traditional harvest holiday, is just around the corner. This year, I returned to Gunsan, where I once filmed the documentary The Border of Heaven – Smuggling, to prepare food and spend Chuseok with North Korean escapees. I spent time with several North Korean women whom Caleb Mission rescued and share the gospel with, and who recently r

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. It is already mid-September, and fall is fully upon us. Chestnuts have begun to fall from the trees around Caleb Mission’s center for North Korean escapees. As our elders often say, time truly flies like an arrow. As we enter this season of harvest, I pray that we will also finish this year well and see abundant fruit in our lives and ministries. Last week, I traveled to the Philippines in my role as the moder

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. I am currently in the Philippines. Isn’t it God’s will that we reach the nations with the gospel? Although Caleb Mission’s primary focus is serving and rescuing North Korean escapees, the Philippines has a special connection to Korea. During the Korean War, the Philippines was one of the nations that came to South Korea’s aid, sending troops who fought and sacrificed alongside the Korean people. This program i

It is truly a season of harvest—a time when many things begin to bear fruit. Above all, we are especially thankful for the spiritual fruit God continues to bring through Caleb Mission. We are deeply grateful to see North Korean escapees being rescued, trained, and equipped to serve as pastors and ministry leaders, as well as settling i

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. In just two days, we will celebrate 20 years since Caleb Mission was officially established and 27 years since this ministry first began. Over the years, God has enabled us to rescue 1,072 North Korean escapees, and even now, four more are in the process of being rescued. As we look back, we can truly say that God has faithfully led us every step of the way. He has indeed been our Ebenezer—our faithful Helper

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. The summer heat has been especially intense these days, and I pray that every member of the Caleb Mission family will remain healthy and safe. This year marks 27 years since Caleb Mission began its ministry and the 20th anniversary of its official registration as an organization. As we prepare for our anniversary celebration, I have come to the coast of Gunsan, where I spent part of my childhood, to buy fresh

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. Through your prayers and love, the North Korean escapees were safely rescued and have now arrived at our center in Southeast Asia. Over the next three months, they will receive discipleship training and be prepared to live for God’s glory and become catalysts for future ministry to North Korea. We are deeply grateful. I’m at our center for North Korean escapees in South Korea, spending time with our goats. You

Hallelujah! May the God of peace be with each of you. Through your faithful prayers and many years of partnership, Caleb Mission has been able to rescue countless North Korean escapees. Personally, I believe that God has always been with me throughout this dangerous ministry and that your prayers and

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. The intense summer heat continues. Yet just as autumn will surely come after this heat, bringing a season of harvest, we believe that although our ministry to North Korean escapees is facing many difficulties right now, it will surely bear precious fruit. Even at this very moment, there are women who are in the process of escaping. I sincerely ask you to pray for them. Jesus taught us that one life is more val

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. As the first week of July begins, the summer heat and seasonal rains are arriving as well. I pray that you and your families will stay healthy and well during this season. This past June, seven North Korean refugee sisters were baptized at our Gospel Center in Southeast Asia. Those who have completed three months of discipleship training have now begun their journey toward freedom in South Korea. Please pray t

Hallelujah! I pray that the peace of God is with you. As summer begins and students prepare for their break, I want to thank you for your continued prayers for North Korean rescue and Gospel ministry. June is a month of remembrance in Korea. We remember the Korean War and honor those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom we enjoy today. During my recent trip to the United States, I had the opportunity to pay my respects to veterans who served during the Korean War. Thoug

Hallelujah! I pray that the peace of God will be with you. By God's grace and through your faithful prayers, I safely returned to Korea after completing my ministry trip to the United States. 🎙️ Pastor Seungeun Kim: Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with all of you. I am currently spending the final part of my journey here in Chicago. By the time this newsletter video is released, I will likely already be back in Korea. Thankfully, throughout this trip, God has given us special grace and allowed us to meet precious brothers and sisters who are partnering together with this mission. Today, I would like to introduce Esther, an American sister who has
