Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. As the first week of July begins, the summer heat and seasonal rains are arriving as well. I pray that you and your families will stay healthy and well during this season.
This past June, seven North Korean refugee sisters were baptized at our Gospel Center in Southeast Asia. Those who have completed three months of discipleship training have now begun their journey toward freedom in South Korea. Please pray that, just as they confessed their faith, the seed of Jesus Christ would be deeply planted in their hearts, and that God would use them for North Korean missions and for the gospel-centered unification of the Korean Peninsula. We are praying that their baptism would not simply be an outward ceremony, but that it would lead to a truly transformed and spiritually renewed life.
Truly, your prayers have helped save countless lives. By Godโs grace, we have now brought 1,068 precious lives before the Lord. And even now, as more people are escaping, we ask you to continue praying with us that God would use them for the gospel and for the future of the Korean Peninsula.
This week, North Korean refugee families featured in Beyond Utopia joined us for worship. It was such a joy and blessing to spend time with them. We are deeply thankful to see our North Korean brothers and sisters continuing to settle, grow, and walk together in community.
Next week, I will be visiting Hanawon, the South Korean government resettlement facility, where North Korean refugees rescued through Caleb Mission are spending their final days of preparation before beginning their new lives in freedom. I will have the opportunity to meet and fellowship with them there. As I look at all of these things, I truly believe that God is faithfully carrying out each step and strengthening this ministry through His mission.
Friends, the summer heat has been intense. Even here at our community center for North Korean refugees in South Korea, we have been feeling the heavy heat of the season. Today, I was standing in front of a grapevine, and I saw that it was full of grapes โ so many, and so beautifully grown. The Bible speaks often about the vine, and as I looked at it, I was reminded again: we must remain connected to the Lord, and we must bear fruit.
Please stay healthy, and we will continue praying that God will use you and your families in precious ways for His kingdom. Thank you.

1. Heavenly Father, we pray that through Caleb Mission, more North Korean lives will be rescued and used as precious seeds for gospel-centered unification.
2. Lord, please bless all of our partners around the world who serve this ministry of rescuing North Korean refugees through their prayers and support. May this ministry continue to be one that is pleasing to You.
3. Lord, please pour out Your anointing on all the workers serving in the field, including those at the Gospel Center in Southeast Asia and those serving in China. Please protect their safety and health.
