Caleb Mission Newsletter ๐ The Last Week of September
Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you.
I hope you are all having a blessed Chuseok holiday (Korean Thanksgiving). We are spending this special holiday together with North Korean escapees. Although they have hometowns they cannot return to, I believe it brings them comfort to be surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ who can share their pain, faith, and hope.
During todayโs worship service, we connected via video call with North Korean escapees currently staying at our Southeast Asia center, where recently rescued escapees spend about three months learning about Jesus and receiving discipleship training before resettling in South Korea. Together, we shared Godโs grace and prayed for reconciliation and unity.We pray first for reconciliation between North and South Korea. We also pray for North Korean escapees who are still hiding and waiting for freedom in China, that a day of freedom, restoration, and peace will come for them as well.
We pray for the North Korean escapees at our Southeast Asia center to know Jesus personally, grow in faith, and find healing and restoration in Him. We also pray for the missionaries serving them, that together they may grow as one family in Christ.
And to all of you who continually pray for us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We pray that all of us will become one in Christ, and that one day the people of North and South Korea will also be reconciled and united through the Gospel.
Your prayers and faithful support have helped make gatherings like this possible. On this Chuseok holiday, we especially pray that smiles will remain on the faces of our North Korean brothers and sisters. Even in moments of joy, many of them still carry deep sorrow because of the family members they had to leave behind in North Korea.
We pray that their wounds will be healed through faith, that the deep trauma they have carried will be restored by Godโs grace, and that the day of Gospel-centered reunification will come soon.
Once again, thank you for your faithful prayers, love, and dedication to this ministry. We are grateful that we can share this meaningful holiday moment with you, and we humbly ask you to continue praying for North Korean escapees and for this mission. Thank you, and may we continue to pray together.

Seasonโs Greetings from Recently Rescued N.K. Women:Because of your love and support, we were able to be rescued safely and arrive at the Southeast Asia center. Here, we are learning about Jesus, growing in faith, and living with grateful and joyful hearts.
This Chuseok, the Korean harvest holiday, your generous support made it possible for us to enjoy a special holiday meal and receive gifts. Even though we are far from home and living in an unfamiliar place, we were able to share a warm and meaningful celebration that felt like being home for the holiday.
We are sincerely grateful for your kindness and generosity. We pray that God will fill your lives with His grace, peace, and abundant blessings.
