Caleb Mission Newsletter ๐ The Second Week of October
Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each and every one of you!
Today, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the National Assembly of South Korea with some of the North Korean escapees we have rescued.
A member of the National Assembly saw a recent national television broadcast featuring Caleb Missionโs 20th anniversary and kindly invited us to visit.
It has been a truly meaningful and unforgettable experience for our North Korean brothers and sisters, filled with moments of surprise, joy, and gratitude.
Thanks to your faithful prayers and support, we have been able to rescue North Korean escapees, disciple them to follow Jesus, help them settle in South Korea, and raise them up as seeds of hope for the next generation of missions to North Korea.
I am deeply grateful that, through the love and support of so many people, they now have opportunities like this to visit the National Assembly and learn more about their new home, South Korea. I truly believe that none of this would have been possible without your prayers and love. Please continue to pray for Caleb Mission and partner with us as we seek to rescue even one more precious life.
I also have a special prayer request to share with you.
The documentary, Beyond Utopia, has been invited to screen at the Asia Pacific Film Festival in New Zealand on November 20, and I have also received an invitation to attend. I am currently praying and seeking God's guidance about whether to make the trip. If any of you have connections in New Zealand or know of churches there that you could introduce us to, I would be very grateful.
If we could connect with even one or two local churches, the trip would become an opportunity not only to attend the film festival but also to fellowship with local believers and share more about our mission to rescue North Korean refugees and spread the Gospel. Having these opportunities would greatly help me in deciding whether to make the journey.
Finally, please continue to pray that opportunities like this will help North Korean escapees gain a deeper understanding of South Korea and successfully settle into their new lives here.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers, love, and partnership.
God bless you all!
In Christโs love,Pastor Seungeun Kim
