Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace will be with each of you. In just two days, we will celebrate 20 years since Caleb Mission was officially established and 27 years since this ministry first began. Over the years, God has enabled us to rescue 1,072 North Korean escapees, and even now, four more are in the process of being rescued. As we look back, we can truly say that God has faithfully led us every step of the way. He has indeed been our Ebenezerโour faithful Helper until now.
As we reflect on these past 27 years, every ministry is precious, but ministry to North Korean escapees has involved many dangers, challenges, and hardships. Yet through your prayers and faithful partnership, countless lives have been rescued, and many have been able to come to South Korea and begin new lives here.
One of the things that brought me the greatest joy happened just last week. I went to Hanawon to preach, and it happened to be the graduation day for several women whom Caleb Mission had helped rescue. That Sunday, they came to Cheonan Seopyeong Church and worshiped with us.
I cannot fully express how thankful I was as I watched them worship. It was all by the grace of God. With tears in their eyes, these women gave glory to God and expressed their deep gratitude.
Through your partnership, you have helped save lives one by one and share the gospel with them. You have helped prepare the way and plant seeds of the gospel in their lives. This is truly the grace of God and the fruit of what He has accomplished as we have worked together for His purposes.
On August 20, many guests will join us to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Caleb Missionโs official founding. Former denominational leaders will attend, along with North Korean escapees who have appeared on well-known South Korean television programs such as Now On My Way to Meet You and Moranbong Club. We will also welcome North Korean escapee performers, twelve leaders of North Korean escapee organizations, and eleven North Korean escapee pastors whom God has called into ministry for North Korea.
The entire family whose rescue journey was featured in Beyond Utopia will also be joining us for this special celebration.
Please pray that this gathering will truly be a joyful celebration of Godโs faithfulness and grace. Many people will be coming together, and we ask you to celebrate with us, continue partnering with us, and pray for the future of ministry to North Korea.
Please especially pray that the next generation will continue this mission and that one day we will see the historic moment when the land of North Korea is fully placed into Godโs hands and opened for the gospel.
Above all, we pray that through everything that has been accomplished, all glory will be given to God alone. Thank you for your prayers, your partnership, and your faithful support. May God bless you.

1. Heavenly Father, we pray that through Caleb Missionโs 27 years of ministry and its 20th anniversary, You alone will receive all the glory.
2. God, we pray that You will lead North Korean escapees to freedom, help them receive Jesus Christ as their Savior, and raise them up as faithful workers for the future of North Korean ministry.
3. God, please protect the missionaries and ministry workers in the field, as well as the North Korean escapees at our Southeast Asia center, and continue to guide this ministry in the years ahead.
