Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace would be with each of you. As we celebrate the Korean Lunar New Year, we bless you with a season filled with God’s grace, peace, joy, and gratitude.

Because of your faithful prayers and partnership with Caleb Mission, we were able to spend the New Year in God’s grace. Although the North Korean escapees cannot return to their homeland, we made every effort to ensure they did not feel alone. We shared a joyful time together, especially offering warmth and comfort. We made traditional dumplings, shared stories of home, and encouraged one another.

Three months ago, several sisters were rescued and have since been studying and growing in their faith at our Southeast Asia center. They are now beginning their journey toward freedom as they travel to South Korea. During their three months at the center, they expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to come to know God. They testified that they desire to live by His grace. As we looked into their eyes and heard their commitments, we were deeply moved. We realized that this ministry is not only about rescue, but about raising up women who are discipled in the faith and who may one day become vessels for North Korea missions. All of this has been possible because of your prayers and intercession. It is also the fruit of the sincere love and sacrificial giving of our supporters who cherish every soul.

We are reminded that the Kingdom of God grows through this kind of holy cycle—planting, nurturing, and harvesting. As this continues, God’s Kingdom expands. I continually pray with you that every part of Caleb Mission’s work would be pleasing in the sight of the Lord.

As you celebrate the Lunar New Year, we ask that you also pray for the escapees who have just left China and are now traveling toward Southeast Asia. Please pray earnestly for their safety.

May you have a blessed and joyful New Year. Thank you.

1. Heavenly Father, please protect North Korean escapees in hiding in China. Through Caleb Mission, bring them safely through, that they may encounter You and be raised up with vision and purpose.

2. God, we pray that the escapees being discipled in the Southeast Asia safe house would rise as people of calling, ready to serve their fellow North Koreans and those in spiritual need.

3. Father, during the Korean Lunar New Year, comfort those who cannot return home. May they feel Your presence and become people of hope.
