Hallelujah! We pray that the God of peace be with you all. I hope you take the opportunity to visit your hometown during the long Lunar New Year holiday and spend quality time with family and friends. While some people return to their hometowns every year, others may have to wait until the following year. For North Korean escapees who are unable to visit their hometowns, this holiday can be particularly challenging.
Caleb Mission recognizes the challenges faced by North Korean escapees. Recently, we and our North Korean ministers built an outdoor café at the North Korean Center in Cheonan, offering roasted sweet potatoes and coffee, even in winter. We invite Caleb Mission supporters to join us for this experience.
In mid-March, we will join events at the United Nations and U.S. Congress to advocate for the human rights of North Korean escapees. We are collaborating with international human rights activist Suzanne Scholte. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Caleb Mission and American Christian human rights organizations.
I am planning to visit the United States from early March to April to share the work of Caleb Mission and to help save more lives of North Korean escapees. We rescued three North Korean escapees just before the Lunar New Year. The rescue missions will continue in February. They will study the Bible in Southeast Asia before settling in Korea, where we will nurture future leaders for North Korean missions. This work thrives on your prayers and intercession. God is alive and works through those with a vision.

2. God, please help North Korean escapees facing challenges and longing for their hometowns in China during the Lunar New Year. Grant us protection for safe rescue.
3. God, please bless our North Korean sisters who honor You through Bible study during the Lunar New Year at Safehouse in Southeast Asia, and grant our missionaries the grace to fulfill their mission.
4. God, please grant grace to the North Korean escapees at the community center in South Korea this holiday season and help us share that grace with them.
