Hallelujah. I pray that the God of peace will be with you all. January has been especially cold in Korea. Even in the southern regions, winter has been severe—so it’s hard to imagine how unbearable the cold must be in the North.
In the midst of these difficult conditions, we are reminded that there are still people who continue to pray. We pray that God’s grace would rest upon them, and that through the gospel of Jesus Christ, even in the cold, their hearts would remain warm with hope.
We also ask that you join us in prayer for the safe rescue of the prepared North Korean escapees. Shortly after this message is shared, they will begin their escape journey. Please intercede with us, praying that God’s grace and protection would be with them every step of the way.
After mid-April, I will be traveling to the U.S. West Coast for ministry. In May, I would welcome invitations from churches or communities that would like to learn more about North Korean ministry and explore opportunities to partner together. I would be honored to share what God is doing and spend time in fellowship with you. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested.
February is also a very significant season, as it includes the traditional Korean holiday, Seollal (Lunar New Year). During this time, many North Korean escapees in China experience deep loneliness and great hardship. Those living in South Korea also suffer deeply, as they are unable to see the family members they left behind in the North and continue to carry heavy trauma.
We ask for your prayers for them. In addition, the sisters studying at our Southeast Asia center are also going through very difficult times. Please pray that they would experience healing through the gospel and be restored through the love of Jesus Christ alone. We also ask for your continued prayers for their safety and deliverance.
As February marks an important starting point for our ministry, many visitors will be coming to our center as well. We ask for your prayers over every meeting and every aspect of the ministry, that as we unite and work together, we may be able to rescue and serve even one more precious life. We sincerely ask that you would continue to stand with us in prayer and partnership without ceasing.
In Christ’s love and service,Pastor Seungeun Kim
❤️Please support the North Korean defectors 🙏🏻
🙏🏻❤️Please pray with us for North Korea ❤️🙏🏻
1. Heavenly Father, please grant Caleb Mission spiritual and physical strength, that we may proclaim the gospel not only in North Korea but also in the communist nations of Southeast Asia.
2. Lord, we lift the North Korean escapees in China who are waiting to be rescued. Calm their fears and anxious hearts, and help them to entrust themselves fully into Your hands.
3. Lord, please anoint all who are praying and serving in the rescue of North Korean escapees—the workers, the missionaries at the Southeast Asia center, their families, and all involved in this ministry. May their faithfulness bear abundant fruit for Your glory.
